AMS should be available to those with credentails to access it via http://download.tibco.com. If you can't get it there, talk to your TIBCO representative who can work with you to get you access.

...And yes...the engine within AMS is Lightstreamer, but AMS wraps LS with pub/sub style APIs to make it easier to tap message buses like TIBCO RV, TIBCO EMS and JMS, MQ etc...

Thanks for the info Kevin. I assumed it hadn't been released yet because I couldn't find anywhere to download it. Is it supposed to be available on download.tibco.com to TIBCO partners?
I had a quick look at the demos. Would I be correct in saying that AMS is based on Lightstreamer?

Tom--Nice summary and examples. To clarify... TIBCO Ajax Message Service is in fact now available. (Has been for more than a few months now). There's a live demo here: http://ams.tibco.com and more info @ www.tibco.com.

re: similarities and differences between TIBCO Ajax Message Service and DWR ... see this ... http://power.tibco.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=26795
