Revamped Again

Back in July last year, we updated the site with Vistered Little II, and said a public release would follow. Part of that process was to have the design tweaked by Vize Media, the design company we use. After some feedback from him, we decided to give him free reign and what you are seeing now is the fruit of their labour, which we are very happy with and we hope you like too.
Here is our conundrum though, what should we do with the Vistered Little II code? Does anyone still want it? Please let us know.

Well, I was (and still am) interested. And many people using the old Vistered Little theme after all and I guess they are also interested.
So why not giving it a try and complete it?

There has been a further development that makes the problem even worse. VL II is a child theme of Sandbox 1.6.1, however the developer has just confirmed that Sandbox is dead. See http://www.plaintxt.org/2010/01/the-sandbox-is-dead-long-live-the-sandbox/
I’ve also had a close look at the VL II code and there is far too much that is specific to the Windy Road website.
So here is the deal. There is still significant interest in Vistered Little, so we are going to redevelop it as a child theme of Thematic (a successor of Sandbox). See http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/thematic
No word on how long this would take, but we are working on it. And we’ll try to get it out sooner rather than later.
