Tiny XHTML Plugin

« Back to WordPress

The Tiny XHTML plugin re-adds style editing support to the TinyMCE Rich Visual Editor. The TinyMCE style plugin is normally bundled with TinyMCE, but it has be removed from the version within WordPress. This plugin puts it back in.

The xhtmlxtras TinyMCE plugin allows you to control common attributes, such as class, id, lang, onclick, etc.
It also provides buttons for creating cite, ins, del, abbr, and acronym elements.

Most of the credit for this plugin belongs to Moxiecode Systems, who wrote the style plugin for TinyMCE, which this plugin uses.

    Hi,

I just installed your plugin in WP mu and it made the rich editor completely disappear. Is this mu compatible?

I haven’t tested in on WP mu, and judging by your report, I’m guessing it’s not WP mu compatible. What version of WP mu are you using?

Does not appear to work in WP 2.3.3: No extra buttons are added to the Editor. Any ideas?

it worked in 2.3.3 for myself. However it’s not working in 2.5, probably because 2.5 uses TinyMCE 3.0. Are there currently any plans to make an update?

    Thanks in advance.
